has observed that the reactions to this deviation are very much resembling Monty Python - Argument Clinic which I find to be as accurate as it is hilarious! 
Personally it also reminds me of the video in which Bashar explains the contrast between the ideas of gullibility, cynicism and scepticism entitled Debunking The Debunkers. In this video it explains that true scepticism requires the sort of open mindedness where as the mind is not already made up in advance. Where as gullibility and cynicism are two expressions of the same dichotomy, because someone who is cynical will be gullible in holding onto their cynicism, where as someone who is gullible will cynically maintain their stance as well. So both are stating that they have a system of belief that they absolutely refuse to let go of, so all other data is therefore shunned and rejected.
One of the pictures in my mind as I have observed the reactions, was a scenario in which a group of nazis and a group of black rascists, argue with each other both claiming the same thing: that the other is the one who is racist, and that they are not racist and merely justified through factual evidence. The black group presenting pseudo-evidence rhetoric about how all white people are evil and run the corporations that are designed to stamp out the blacks and other minorities, where as the nazis are spilling their particular brand of bullshit about supposed white superiority, making claims like listing all of the so-called accomplishments of whites over the centuries, and spinning it to make it seem as if whites are smarter than everyone else. All the while both groups insisting that they are not being racist, but simply making observation of logical facts. And God help anyone who steps up and tells em' that they're both equally full of shit
I really don't think that
will mind my admitting that she noted me about this privately stating and I quote "oh. my GOSH! I can't even haha just that is the exact way my science teacher views things that religion has/is no data and it drove me crazy! haha you definitely handled it well ... but seriously! aahhh".
Seeing as the educational system is imfamous for punishing independent critical thinking and discourages questions and perspectives that might fly outside the box of the prescribed intellectual dogma, I feel that the educational system is a valid example of this sort of thing as well.
And seeing as the educational system is based on neo-nasiism, this is really no surprise to me.

Seems current cosmology is flat busted.
Been looking at the electric universe take. think they've made some great observations and points.
Ken Ham and others do base the dating on the bible but they also have some science to back up the POV.
seems no one has a complete lock on the science aspects to make a hard case for the age of the universe HUGE problems on all side. But concerning the case for a creator the evidence LEANS HARD for one. universe from nothing and universe always existing does not work. from nothing nothing comes. And the 2nd law of thermodynamics means that the universe would have die of heat death long ago it it "always was".
