Comfort Is Overrated

COMFORTABLE: what a person is used to and familiar with.
UNCOMFORTABLE: what a person is not yet experienced with; anything that is new.

People whom are comfortable with (or in other words "used to") misery, are terrified of its opposite. People whom are comfortable with (or in other words "used to") joy, are terrified of its opposite. People who have experienced enough of both, prefer that which is joyful but view that which is not as an opportunity for positive growth.

Pain is a learning experience and is a valid part of life. Suffering is the "terrified running away from" uncomfort, in the pursuit of comfort.
